BSL!
So now that I have a job I can afford to buy books. Among the first six books I've bought two of them are about British Sign Language. Another is about sensory defensiveness and APD.
These should be very englightening.
The blog of a woman in her mid 20s that wishes to be moderately/severely Deaf. This is called "Deaf-wannabe." This blog deals with "taboo" topics. If it bothers you please do not read.

Books are fun :) But much as I hate to point this out, you can't learn BSL with a book :( It gives an idea, but it's next to impossible to learn a fluid language with static pictures and graphics. And if you do, you're "accent" turns out to be horrible. That's what they told me when I wanted to learn ASL anyway. :)
It's better to have two resources than none at all. It's a start! I do want to have in person lessons but there's not much I can do about it now.
